Get a unique insight into our warehouse and be blown away by our technological capabilities across an area spanning 6800 m².
We store large parts upwards in our warehouse, where we can easily scan goods in and out using our man-up lift system. This system allows us to make the most of our entire warehouse, meaning we can store as much as possible, even upwards. One of our stock employees is hoisted up with the machine. From their position in the cab, the employee can remove the parts from their racks and place them in the basket provided – all in an exceptionally safe way.
Our Modula cabinet is like a large-scale chemist’s cabinet where we store smaller car parts. We have two of these cabinets available in our warehouse. There are 93 sliders per Modula, and we can store around two million pieces in total.
Each cabinet has an automated lift that moves the various drawers through the cabinet. The height of the drawers never exceeds the height of the parts, so no more space is ever taken up than is actually needed. This lets us store items in a very compact, well-organised way. We save up to 90% of space!
Furthermore, the lift is a closed tower where all parts are shielded and stored dust-free. All goods are presented to our stock employees in a well-organised and ergonomic way. Management software optimises picking and controls access.
The shipments we receive in our warehouse are always packed in cardboard and placed on pallets. We recycle our packaging materials properly in order to contribute to a sustainable future. Our cardboard-processing machine has a rotating head to reduce the volume of cardboard waste. The compressed waste is then collected in 100% recyclable plastic bags and transferred to recycling companies in a container.
In 2022, the Belgian branch of APF Autoparts moved into a new, high-tech headquarters. The facility covers an impressive area measuring 6,800 m² and embodies modernity, functionality and efficiency. The new infrastructure has already proven to be a huge step forward for our company. The strategic location of our headquarters gives us excellent access to main transport routes, enabling us to improve our logistics and distribution, and to be more easily accessible for our partners.
A new headquarters also meant a new warehouse and the associated impressive increase in capacity. Our warehouse has extensive storage space, carefully designed for a wide range of products. With plenty of space for stock management, sophisticated racking systems and an innovative sorting system, we handle your goods with utmost care and precision. Our state-of-the-art recycling systems and the 500 solar panels on our roof guarantee that we make our contribution to an environmentally friendly future every day.
